Sometimes I mention how sad I am that I’ll never have any nieces or nephews and someone will say “Well you can just have your own kids” and I kind of give them the ‘disdainful invisible bifocals’ look and say “Ha, have you seen me?” and then they just get angry and walk away.

I don’t know why people don’t take me seriously when I say that I’m super insecure and that I expect to be alone for the rest of my life or that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to have any kids or when I say I don’t have any friends or any of the other things that I think about or that are true.

It’s like they think I’m joking and I’m not. I’m serious as a heart attack when I say these things. I’m boring and mean and ugly and my body looks like a sack of potatoes and there’s nothing good about me at all except my music taste and my good eye for colors. Jeez I just want to be someone else.
